A story you help discover.
POMMARU and the Backyard Mystery is shown here as the latest supplied layout preview. Its backyard mystery unfolds across 32 story-and-discovery sections. The current layout has 68 interior pages, including the opening pages and a final blank. A full-colour story and participation page sits on the left of each section, with a full-page colouring illustration on the right. The previews below are literal images from that layout.
Begin with “The morning that sounded wrong”: read together and ask what sounds the child would expect in a backyard. In “FEXLO arrives”, meet the crew’s energetic doer. In “TILLI-TU remembers”, pause at the question and invite the child to explain an idea. Then explore the facing colouring scene together. Follow the written instructions on each story page.
A grown-up can read aloud, record an idea or help compare clues. The child supplies the observation and the choice wherever possible. You can revisit a page without recording a score or a completion time. The book does not need a working QR experience to be enjoyed.
